Smiling on a Friday – Week 318
I’m not sure where the last three weeks have gone but somehow i missed joining in for a bit so its good to be back with you again. Linking this up with Annie’s blog A Stitch in Time
On Easter Monday we made the most of the nice weather and took a picnic of homemade pasties with us to a local Country Park. The view we had wasnt half bad either.
From there we went to a local Antiques centre but I was very good and just window shopped (boring eh) But something I bought a few weeks back at the bootsale makes me smile everytime i look at it.
Everytime i look at it i find something new in the design. I dont know anything about it apart from its made by Hillchurch pottery but for £2, I reckon i did okay.

And finally i wanted to share with you our pigeons, well they’re not ours as such but for the last year they have been nesting in the box on top of our bird table. In that time theyve had no less than seven broods, not all of them survived but they have been so entertaining to watch. Its been more fun that most of the rubbish on tv right now.
This is our latest batch
On the top deck we have the parents, George and Grace (yes we do give them all names) and the newest offspring on the bottom are Johnny and baby Gracie. I know pigeons get a bad press but we love them and theyve been such wonderful, attentive parents.
Well thats me for this week, I hope you all keep well until next Friday.
